Panera Bread is now open at 12th and P!!!! Eating a 4 cheese souffle now. Very nice addition to the downtown breakfast scene. Still not Kuhls, but….
Got a message on Facebook that the UNL Dairy Store will be serving the beloved P.O. Pears burgers this Friday (July 24) from 11:30-2pm. If you’re craving a Jiffy Burger, this is the time to go. Not sure if they’ll be a fixture at the Dairy Store…
Very cautiously happy to read on the Journal Star Biz Blog that Brown Baggers would be serving at 84th and Pioneers again starting last Friday. Went on Saturday to see if it was true and was treated to my favorite half Brown Bagger lunch with smoked turkey on wheat with provolone, dill dressing, lettuce, tomatoes and onions.
